Rounding out our recap of Solidarity athletes on the competition circuit is Erica and Gabby. They made an impressive showing at the Festivus Games at CrossFit Burke. In their first ever CrossFit competition Erica secured 6th place and Gabby 2nd out of field of 28 individuals!
Erica put her swimmer’s lungs to work on the 1k row event clocking in at an impressive 3:48, fast enough for a 3rd place finish in the event. Gabby cleaned a jaw-dropping 190lbs, nearly 1.5 times her bodyweight which landed her in 2nd place on the 1RM clean event and she also handily took 1st place on the final chipper event.
Great work ladies, with this kind of inaugural performance we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
